New Safety Protocols for Zoo Atlanta

The Atlanta Zoo has implemented a few changes since the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure the safety of its guests, employees and animals.

Tickets

Tickets can only be purchased online and you will have to reserve a time slot for your visit. All transactions within the zoo will be paperless. They’ve also implemented a time ticketing system to limit the number of guests inside the zoo.

Wellness

Guests are strongly encouraged to wear masks. Masks are required to enter The Living Treehouse, Naked Mole Rats, and Scaly Slimy Spectacular. Hand sanitizing stations are located around the zoo. Employees clean and disinfect touchpoints, restroom touchpoints and restrooms frequently with a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention approved solution. They are also promoting a one-way experience that reinforces social distancing at all locations where feasible.

The Nourish Café is temporarily closed. Splash Fountain, train carousel, Treetop Trail and other rides and attractions are also closed.
